Welcome Back to the Starship

I am human therefore I'm subject to losing my mind at any moment! Meditation keeps me grounded and clear... it's my drug of choice. Rhonda Patrick-Sison

I was talking to one of my friends last week about meditation. Both he and I had slacked off lately. Some mornings I got up and with things lined up to do that day my attention soon went to the business at hand. But as my friend and I were talking I remember saying, ‘you know there really isn’t anything more important than meditating in the morning’.

But why is that. What’s a five to fifteen morning meditation in the grand scheme of life?

In Law of Attraction World, we tend to avoid Jesus like the plague. And who can blame us. For some of us, Jesus was forced down our mental throats and everything that was associated with Jesus that we came to dislike came with it. So we have this affinity to dismiss everything associated with Jesus. But keep in mind, Jesus wasn’t a christian. So he’s got that going for him. Why do I bring this Jesus thing up? Because there’s some quotes I like that helps me with this meditation article and I wanted to get your Jesus queasiness out of the way.

"Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."(Matthew 4.17 ESV). Repent here meaning relax or give it up. Not the get down on your knees and pray stuff.

Here’s another: They said to Him: "Shall we then, being children, enter the Kingdom?" Jesus said to them: "When you make the two one, and when you make the inner as the outer and the outer as the inner and the above as the below, and when you make the male and the female into a single one, then you shall enter the kingdom." This quote goes to show on earth we live in a world of duality. You know, this and that, yes and no, war and peace, here and there. Notice I didn’t say yes or no. As both yes and no exist. We get choose one or the other. Where Source, Higher Self (insert your own) exist there is only a world of one. There is no duality.

Hold on, one last one: But my Kingdom is not of this world.” (John 18:36). Kingdom meaning the peace of mind and ease of life we all want to allow. I like this quote a lot because it reminds me that we also are not of this world. We’re in this world, but not of this world.

So this world of peace we seek is different than the one we see everyday played out in front of us. I liken it to crashing on this planet earth. We get a concussion and forget how to use the crazy radio from our little space shuttle because it doesn’t look or feel like anything else we come across on our earth journey. But the people from starship are constantly trying to get our attention on the crazy radio. We ignore the starship because what does it have to do with where we are forgetting the starship knows exactly how to proceed.

So the key with meditation is to re-communicate with the starship or Source. And why do this. Because Source is our true home. Re-connecting with your true home is the most important thing you can do. From Source advantage you can get a true communication on how to proceed with your life. Need something done hand it off to Source. The thing is, how do you hand something off if you don’t really believe it is there. With meditation and the desire to get to know your Higher Self, you then get a rapport going. Once you get a rapport going the world becomes an easier place.

“Greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.' I John 4:4”

You have a connection available that can be expanded and depended upon. What’s more important than doing that everyday?

Also if you desire another meditation method, I wrote about the one I do here.
